BLACKPINK’s Rosé Admits Her Perspective While Watching Other Artists’ Performances Has Changed Since Debut

BLACKPINK‘s Rosé was recently featured in ELLE Korea‘s June 2023 edition, and along with her striking new photoshoot, the talented idol also answered questions about life on tour, headlining Coachella 2023, and her ambassadorship with Tiffany & Co.

BLACKPINK has been on tour since October 2022, and between filling stadiums and arenas worldwide, the group headlined two weekends at one of the biggest music festivals in the world, the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, and pulled record attendance.

While discussing their history-making performance, Rosé opened up about her two weekends at Coachella 2023 as both a performer and audience member and how she views concerts with a new perspective since becoming an artist herself.

When the BLACKPINK members weren’t preparing for their performance, they were able to enjoy stages by other artists at the legendary festival.

After becoming an artist, the way I view performances changed; I have a slightly different point of view. It’s interesting studying what other artists prepared, what kind of atmosphere they created, and what kind of ideas they put into the performance. It’s fun discovering the little details too.

Viewing the performance from a more technical and informed perspective as a performer herself hasn’t stopped her from wholeheartedly enjoying the audience experience.

While Rosé enjoys viewing live performances, she has different plans in mind for her dream day undercover, which she also shared in her ELLE Korea interview.
